A nice little tale about the price of peace. Looks as if Sisko wasn't the only one who had to make sacrifices for the greater good. Poor Marda was a victim of his own shortsightedness. Thankfully Evek understood the stakes much better.

The only minor inconsistency in this story is that you refer to your Romulan Tal Shiar agent as gul, which I'm sure is a Cardassian title.
