Hee, hee. Ok, so I always think it is weird when people write Star Trek poetry but not when you do it so that it fun and fluff and weird in and of itself.

It has to be said, that must have been hard to write though (maybe my thinking poetry writing is weird is linked to thinking it is hard to do) but commend you for it and for doing a good job on it at that. Well done.

Author's Response: Thank you for the feedback! If you think this is full of fluff and squids and things, though, I might have to post the song I wrote compleatly about tribbles. :)

UGH, this was one of the episodes of DS9 I just wasn't a big fan of. The only redeeming part of it was Odo being the umpire and Rom getting to play. I mean, this episode was something I thought belonged on an after school special more than anything with the lessons at the end about “having fun” and “playing the game for the right reasons.” But this song does fit the episode well and even though it doesn’t rhyme in some places, it still sings well (yes, I sung it aloud to the tune, sue me). Overall, a nice little piece.

Author's Response: I agree, Odo was the best part. I've just always been fond of this episode for a few reasons. 1. I'm a huge baseball person. 2. Oh, we're in the middle of a war? Hmm, let's go play ball! 3. I play right field. Last season, under the number 22. I might...er...be a Bashir fan? I'm glad you liked it. :P
