Got caught up again :)
Things are certainly moving at a pace, what with the rebels being caught along with the bombshell that on one of their leading lights is Picard's own wayward brother.
I suspect Riker's rough treatment is going to come back and haunt them later on.
Author's Response: I actually had no idea who the rebel leader was until he showed up on that transporter platform, lol. (My chaotic writing style is to blame.)
Riker is a character I'd love to explore more writing-wise, yes!

Ooh, very hot and steamy. Just a shame Lore kinda ruined the moment with his news.
Author's Response: Oh, I don't think things would've gone anywhere else, lol. He DOES have Bashir for the more... dominant things he enjoys doing. (He's so nasty and cruel, I sometimes am scared of him myself, lol.)

I know you don't like Beverly but - eek!
Author's Response: Hey, I was being merciful here! :P

Call me psychic, but something tells me you *really* enjoyed writing this little scene lol
Author's Response: What ever gave you THAT idea? ;-) (It was insanely wonderful, yes.)

Aww, poor LaForge lol.
I don't like the sound of his new contraption though. Last thing the galaxy needs is for the Empire to have access to even more planets/potential slave races.
Author's Response: Haha yeah, no one ever appreciates the chief engineer and his genius! XD

I don't know what I love more, Picard as this twisted dom figure having his way with Alexander and Bashir, or the fact lore and Data's roles are reversed from those we know of in the rime universe.
I'm loving this twist on the Mirror Universe :)
Author's Response: Awww thank you so much, I'm thrilled that you like this! It just seemed to be a nice twist to reverse Data's and Lore's roles, yes. I didn't want ANOTHER calm and cold character. Lore was better suited for this somehow.

Wow Mirror Picard's a nasty piece of work. Something quite worrying about seeing the same calm demeanour we're used to seeing being allied to such wanton cruelty.
Author's Response: I deliberately wrote him that way - I wanted him to be even more nasty than Kirk. It's because he's so calm and cold... this makes him a lot more dangerous than Mirror Kirk who basically just screamed all the time, lol. I'm glad you like "my" Mirror Picard, though! :) (Not sure if "like" is the right word here, but still.)
