Hell yeah! Now that's how to end the second from last story of this season. But please! Do the title of your last Dominion war story some justice: "Gates of Delirium", "To the Bitter End" or "The Final Push" are just a few suggestions.
But boy has this been a journey! It's like that feeling of watching the last few episodes of a Star Trek series; you know it's coming to an end but there is one last adventure. The fact I'm feeling this is a testament to your series, and the journey you taken your readers through.
I enjoyed this story, I think it was better than the last one; some good drama, action scenes and plot. However I wonder if adding Q was necessary. He didn't seem to add anything, but -- take this as thumbs up -- he didn't detract from the story either and in my mind he sounded like Q. You write him well but I think he was a little misplaced for this story.
But looking forward to the end of this season, the end of my series' season 2 is coming nigh so who knows? Maybe we'll wrap up our respective seasons at the same time?
And finally I'll say this: no other author on this site has been so consistent as too actually wrap up a series. I know you've got more stories coming up but you're about to wrap the Dominion war part of the Lambda Paz series, so it's a milestone. No one else has accomplished something like that with their respective big series but you are on the verge of doing so. Full respect man!

I will certainly keep those title suggestions in mind for the last year two story.
In terms of having Q in the story, I wanted to experiment on whether the character truly has a place in the DS9 portion of the Trek universe. While I did enjoy "Q-Less", it still seemed out of place even with introducing the line of TNG recurring characters during Season 1. The Prophets were the super-aliens of Deep Space Nine, while Q was featured just to establish continuity from the other still-airng series. On the other hand, the Prophets are relatively minor part of the Lambda Paz series, so somewhere along the line, both groups of super-aliens will be part of a "mysteries of the universe" storyline similar to that of the Stargate franchise.

I'll be interested to see how Limis clears her name without returning to a penal colony. I also like the Aurellan/EMH pairing, it's a clever move on your part that Aurellan actually wants a relationship and not just sex. By doing this it doesn't make the relationship so cliched and tells the reader this is more about the bonding than the intimacy. Though I suspect come the end of the Dominion War those two will be making out something fine...

Glad you approve of those aspects of the story. The after-effects of some of Limis's unlawful actions will be a major character in Season 3, as well as being framed for the apparent murder of a fellow officer and questions of whether prosecution for acts of insubordination and war crimes still yet to be committed will be politically unwise or not.
As for the Aurellan Markalis/EMH Mark III romance, there's plenty on the horizon, with some character growth in terms of not blindly following what everyone else does.

Whatever the Romulans were doing seems strangely similar to Star Trek Rogue, that book about Section 31. So the Dyson sphere is inoperable, however why didn't Grabowski just provide Limis and her crew with red matter to inject into the Dyson's sphere star and so sucking in the whole structure?

Hmmm, I hadn't really thought of that. I guess the practical answer is that I had conceived of this story before Star Trek XI came out. But even if I had considered that approach, I think leaving a black hole in the former location of the star would have more dangerous consequences in the long-term, consequences Spock didn't have the luxury of considering when a supernova was more of a threat to wipe out the whole galaxy.
As for the Romulans' use of the Dyson Sphere, it'll contribute to a future straining of relations, while also serving as a parallel to the Yalta Summit, where head-scratching concessions were made to the Soviet Union that were still necessary to maintaining the alliance even when considering Stalin eventually went back on his post-war promises.

Ho ho! Nice to see you use my species of Breen! I really dig this chapter as it has a cool balance of action and drama, and nice one for throwing in a changeling! I bet this changeling will be one of the bad guys in your final Dominion war story!

My ears really pricked up when you mentioned the Nexus! I really like how you are tying together such wacky sci-fi concepts into this episode!
Author's Response: It's only point of comparison, though, and a means of piquing interest. It's all part of how the story provides both an end of the Dominion arc and lead-ins to various Season 3 and 4 arcs-- of course, without the middle-finger ending to ST:Enterprise's third season.

I am really starting to like the Aurellan/hologram pairing. Because in a way they compliment each other; Aurellan is sort of detached from social things while the hologram is learning such things... Interesting ying ying (contrast), and I also think our EMH mark 3 needs to add some 'enhancements' to his programming.
Author's Response: Glad you enjoy that relationship. I thought of it after being a Doc-Seven of Nine "shipper", and so was very disappointed that she and Chakotay became a couple out of the clear blue sky. There's sort of an irony in holographic doctor becoming a social mentor to a liberated Borg drone, or in this case, an aspie and an EMH. And as you can probably tell from my avatar on the forums, I'm a big fan of "Shamy" on "The Big Bang Theory". Eventually, this story will reveal a common theme in the main plot and the two subplots.
