You presented the character really well--they are perfectly fitting the canon and in many cases I could hear the dialogues said by actors, using the characters' mannerism of speaking, tones of voice, etc.

I postponed reading this story, because my own AU story reached a similar moment of Weyoun-Dukat negotiations and I didn't want to be influenced by anything else than canon, but I can see that we both came to the same conclusion: Weyoung used Dukat's hunger for power to install him as a puppet in his puppet Cardassian government and Dukat was blind and arrogant enough not to see that he was being used.

This was a great study of both Dukat and Weyoun! :)

Author's Response: Thank you! I try to only write dialogue that I can hear the actors saying. I absolutely love the relationship between Weyoun and Dukat, and really that was the purpose of this fic for me -- having them stand in a room together and conversing (sniping) at each other. It was very fun to write, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
