Glad to see Malcolm Reed get more face time and his unusually extended family.
this is a very nice scene opening chapter.

This is another delightful look into the unique family you have created. It almost reminds me of some of the Mormon polygamists we have in this day and age. Those who do speak of it talk about the sacrifices each has to make, and coming to terms with jealousy and shared affection. But they also speak of rewards - how it makes them better, stronger people, and enriches the family to the point that they couldn't imagine living any other way. That's what I see when I read about Lili, Doug, Malcolm, Melissa and Norri. So much love and respect there. :D
Author's Response:
Oh! Thank you so much for your kind review!
I definitely see them like that, that it's affectionate and not exploitative. They work together as a larger family unit and it's all done to be kind to each other and to promote and protect their children. But they do have occasional lapses or odd feelings. It's not always perfect, of course.

Not sure how these relationships work but an interesting insight into a less wooden Malcolm Reed.
Author's Response:
It kind of worked out in a previous story (Together) - where he and Lili, well, they get together, as do Doug and Melissa.
For Malcolm, I wanted him to have someone he could really let his hair down with and be himself, and not be so formal.
Thank you for reviewing.
