I really like the fact that Roberta has much more of her own mind here. I am probably not making myself very clear here, but one thing that fan fiction allows us all to do is, we can address and overcome a lot of the sexism and older values in TOS. Roberta is not just a damsel in distress here, a little lost at what is happening. Excellent!
