Yes a gift from Q to Picard, that will seem wonderful at the time but will hurt later, especially when Picard realizes a simple action on his part could of save their lives.
Still in the spirit of Q-mas, let enjoy the joy of jean-Luc getting one more day with his family. Is Q be kind or cruel, to hard to tell but was a nice story.

I actually thought this was a pretty sad episode. Yes, I get what Q was trying to do. But, I don't know, letting Picard see this, especially a man who seems to live his life with the 'never look back' montra he does, having him go there, home, where Robert and his son still lived???
Still, a wonderful story that tugs at the heart either way. Well done!!!
