that was quite extraordinary, very uplifting throughout the ficlets and whilst there was an expectation that Spock's -let's not call it kindness since he may not appreciate that term- but Spock's thoughtfulness and attention to detail would be repaid in kind. I love how the crew do indeed return the kindness, but the real surprise is how they collude together and do so to great effect and in something so very, very Vulcan. Wonderful. Heart-warming. Aw, lovely, and particularly how, after 6 chapters of him essentially meeting them on human terms, they meet him on Vulcan ones. Well done.
