Mistake number one in horror - go outside without backup in an iffy place to investigate a mysterious noise. 

This is one of those moments when people say to the screen, "No, Spidy, No, look out behind you..." 

It's missing the whump sound and quick dissolve to black at the end that I would expect from horror, but a cogent cliff-hanger in any event.

Author's Response: It's like people in horror movies have never seen a horror movie before. Or like that commercial. "Girl: Why don't we just get into that running car? Guy: Are you crazy? Let's hide behind those chainsaws." It gets me every time. In Srena's defense, this isn't a horror movie and she probably has never watched one.

Oh, Srena. You seem to have been baited into a trap that's gonna mean bad things for you, I'm sure. Don't die! I like Andorians in Starfleet (says the guy who write a half-Andorian in Starfleet). Who's the face? I'm guessing it's Xys girl ... or is it?
