Now the chapter I had inadvertently skipped ahead to makes far more sense. I kind of figured there would be an attempt to Stockholm the Eagle's crewmembers.
There's more to this band of vulcan outcasts than just the absence of children... I catch the faint whiff of heresy.
A settlement of vulcan heretics sounds like a lot of fun - from a scifi aspect. I'm sure it will be less fun for the Eagle's stranded crew.
Thanks!! rbs
Author's Response: A lot less fun for the away team, that's for sure. Glad you had a chance to go back and read the missed chapters and that things are falling in place now.

“Do you think I am esthetically pleasing, Xylion?” LOL
And the lines from Leva about dry spells. Loving the humour of this whilst maintaining the mystery and a lingering sense of malovence around the planet's inhabitants. Seems the crew are going to have no option about staying (or in Xylion's case, getting married).
Author's Response: She's laying it on thick, ain't she? Glad you enjoyed the humor here even if Deen and co are probably not as amused about the Vulcans' plans.

I laughed a loud. I knew it. This is some weird Vulcan cult that has trapped our valiant crew in something very, very strange. They're not going to be allowed to leave. I hope Tela decides to come along when the crew does manage an escape ... but it's gonna be a mess until then.
Great, somber scene with Xylion and Tela up on the mountain top. I enjoyed the conversation between the two and the little hints here and there that they like one another. I hope it works out between them, even if her family is apparently quite crazy.
Author's Response: The attraction is definitely there. Even Xylion can probably not deny liking her a little bit. Not that he would admit that publicly, of course.
