I did wonder which ship was pursuing and how that would fit into this alter timeline, Thou I’m surprise the Vulcan defence fleet didn’t have words to say about a guest been fired upon in their space, I guess that was part of T’Pau disagreement with them doing it, she wouldn’t stop them nor help them.

Still I like the use of the codes to sent the Excalibur landing party away on the ruins of the Enterprise without killing them.

Using Sarek as the replacement for the high priestess of STIII, feels right and in keeping with this universe as you’ve set it up.

Another excellent chapter – but why do I fear the outcome of the final chapter.
