And some unrequited insect love. Interesting that Maya and Glover are far more comfortable with bending the Prime Directive than Wesley is. That actually tracks with the cultural development of the Federation from the original series to the next generation.

Author's Response: There is another reason for this as well. The Omega Directive is one of the few in Starfleet which takes precedence over the Prime Directive. Wesley didn't have that yet and had to make things up as he went along.
