Several implications in the subtitle "the Big Sleep" (which reminds me of a song by Simple Minds by that name).
It looks like sleep issues and possibly sleep walking may become part of this story and might be a way in for outside forces.
And an onboard murder to kick it off with.. Definitely a page turner.
Thanks!! rbs
Author's Response: The chapter names in this story are all borrowed from crime novels, although the Big Sleep may be even better known as a classic film noir starring Humphrey Bogart and of course it refers to the the kind of sleep you never wake up from again. But yeah, sleep is a theme here. Thanks for the kind words.

Mysteries, secrets, shady characters and motives, war spy apparatus at stake, all the key ingredients are here for a complicated murder mystery. Add to that the demands and deadlines and wider stakes to ensure they complete their mission. AND the fact the top three involved in the case Owns, Star and Laas have mutual problems - trust being the biggest. The only way to best it is to be professional and to do their jobs. Maybe trust will come in time. However, if things get complicated and messy with the investigation, there's going to be all sorts of problems.
Author's Response: Yeah, I'll say this much, there'll be all sorts of problems. Wouldn't be a fun story otherwise. Let's hope that cooler heads prevail in the end and justice is served.

Well, things just got interesting. A murderer running lose on the ship just as they're working on a very important project? Too much coincidence if you ask me. Owens has his work cut out for him.
Author's Response: It's not a good time for a murder, methinks. Well, technically there is never a good time for murder, I 'spose.
