Whew. Well, Colin seems to have found his Starfleet training again, just in the nick of time. My mind keeps wondering what happened with Astrid though ... she indicated she was going to seduce him and use him in some way. I can't help but feel Colin could be a ticking time bomb but Astrid's ploy befuddles me even now. What's her end game? I'm intrigured by that.

Equally intrigured by the ambassador who, despite being universally seen a bitch, also moonlights as a badass too. Between her and Qwert, I have faith those who are left will be okay.

On Redemption, Prin seems to be struggling to keep things together. I like that she went to Kane for help and, as the Borg often do, I have no doubt that he has a plan to get them out of this pickle. Turner and the flight guys were brilliantly written, a very old school war movie feel there. I loved the banter back and forth between her and her guys. She's obviously one who can focus on the objective at hand but seeing her think of Sarine was a nice touch.

And now we finally know what's going on with the station. A coup, eh? Yeah, that will turn into a bloodbath pretty fast. Qwert is, as ever, quick to make a proper judgement, using his years of experience to size up things.

Both Groves and Benjamani demonstrate some survival skills and instincts as their diplomatic mission quickly devolves into an armed confrontation both on the station and in the surrounding space.

Prin’s holding her own in the battle, at least for the moment. Kane may be busy, but 10 minutes?  Really? I’m thinking this battle will be long over in 10 minutes.

Turner’s as gutsy as they come, especially when leading her people into the combat meat-grinder outside Restoration, where her fighters are grossly outnumbered. I liked her brief thought regarding Sarine, a testament to how close she’s getting to him, despite just having met the man.

Meanwhile, Qwert’s having his own grand time on board the station, but finds some relief in the form of an unexpected ally, Lil’Kim. ;-)

Terrific stuff here, CaptainSarine. You’ve got a lot of balls in play, but you’re keeping them all airborne with a deft hand and a nicely flowing narrative.
