I think I picked up on Helvia coming from the planet of the Romans from the original series on my first read through - even before the reference to the children of the sun. Interesitng character design. 

I recall really liking the careful dance between Trujillo and Marshall. As I recall, Marshall was a character you borrowed from anther UT writer?
