Love the line "Just channel the worst parts of your personality and you should be fine..." That should be on a tee-shirt somewhere.

Just a few paragraphs above that you have "thought" where it appears you meant "taught" (father teaching him how to pilot a shuttle)

And now Lif-prime gets to lead a battle against some version of Star Fleet - or so it appears at the moment. He's going to need access to some more lively Krellonian expletives for this job.
