It is very satisfactory to deliver Jarik a blow. But he might be more valuable than that. Even with the shields relatively ineffective, they were having a hard time finding the elder Owens and the artifact. Jarik might be able to deliver those. 

Interesting kettle of fish. The attack of the Guardians is probably just what everyone there needs.

Looking forward to more Gary Seven...
