I know this has been done to death, but this is my spin on what Kirk felt during Spock’s death in TWOK, and how it fits with my personal canon.  Essentially a H/C piece, heavy on the hurt, with virtually no comfort.

As a young boy struggles to find his place in the world, a chance encounter sets his feet on a path that will ultimately change the course of his planet's history.  Sorry, can't say anything else without giving too much away. ;-)

This is a follow-on to the TOS episode 'Errand of Mercy' - non-AU this time, I promise.  The Organians may have put an end to the fleet-wide Federation/Klingon war, but what if a day later Kirk and Kor were thrust together into a life-or-death situation?  Would the two be able to transcend their differences and work together in order to survive?  Written for the 'Friends and Enemies' challenge.

This is an immediate sequel to ‘A Mother’s Love’ (so it would be best to read that story first) and was inspired by the free write entitled ‘Of Sock Drawers.’  What does Spock keep in his ‘sock drawer’?  Certainly not what you’d expect.  The story is peppered with allusions to some of my other works, as well as TOS episodes and movies.  Understanding all of those really isn’t necessary, but does add some emotional weight to the piece.

This is a sequel to ‘The Last Full Measure,’ and is an AU retelling and follow-on to the events of the TOS episode ‘Errand of Mercy.’  This is the journey of those left behind – both physical and emotional.  While the prologue will give one enough information to follow this story, it’s highly recommended that you read LFM first, to get the full effect and ramifications of the events in that story, which severely impact this story.

What if the Organians hadn’t decided to intervene, halting the Klingon/Federation war before it even started? Here’s an AU look at how things might have played out. This is another dark, grim tale on my part (maybe I need to get a nice, warm kitten for my Muse to cuddle with, or a soft, furry Tribble to pet). Warning: Graphic descriptions of torture, both physical and emotional, and character death. Written for the ‘Decisions, Decisions’ challenge.

A sequel (of sorts) to ‘Learning Curve,’ McCoy first learns of the existence of a mind link between Kirk and Spock when Jim is captured by the Gorn and tortured to within an inch of his life, the bond their only hope of finding him before it’s too late.  Prior Knowledge of ‘Learning Curve’ would be helpful, but not necessary.  Warning:  Minor character death.  This story has been percolating for months now, and was born from ideas inspired by two free writes which were never written.

‘The silence between us is deafening.  Not the silence without, for there is none – we engage in the same things we always have; on the surface we interact with one another as usual, as the crew expects us to, and all would seem normal to the casual observer – but the silence within is all encompassing and eclipses everything else.’
