To avoid confusion, all stories in the Star Trek: Beyond series are best read in order. The first trip to Yosemite was interrupted, as seen in the movie, "The Final Frontier". After that mission, they go back to complete their campout--only this time, Lauren Fielding and T'Beth come along. As always, keep in mind that Spock realistically appears much younger than his movie image.
